Description
Perky little Penelope is back, helping to save her planet. This time, while staying with Granny Mary, they head to the everglades hoping to sketch the amazing creatures who make the wetland their home.
The adventure takes an exciting turn when the little girl falls out of their boat, into the water, and is picked up by a friendly alligator, Emily Dickinson, Poet Laureate of the Everglades.
Together they travel the swampland sketching and writing poems about their wetland friends.
In the process, Penelope learns of the fragile nature of their everglade home and promises to spread the word about the vanishing everglades.
