Description
It’s 2079, and Ricky, a young teen boy, hovers between life and death. He is granted a “Great and Terrible” destiny and awakes in a cutting-edge robotic body. As he, now a robotic human, searches for his place in a world of carnate humans—those made of flesh—he falls in with the cult-like followers of the anointed one who are on the run from the emperor of the world.
The emperor and his so-called family make up a vast serpentine evil that has entwined itself throughout the world’s power structures. When Ricky connects with the network, he discovers secrets that threaten the base of the emperor’s power. So the emperor seeks to destroy him and the two other robotic people who have been thrown
together with him in an improbable alliance.
On the run from the emperor’s secret police, can they find a way to cut off the head of the snake before it inflicts a fatal bite on them?
