Will Brandon grew up in Southeast Missouri. When he was old enough, he joined the Army, becoming a paratrooper, a Green Beret, and later an adviser with Special Forces for the U.S. Government in Vietnam. Although he witnessed and participated in atrocities he’d like to forget, he returned home to the U.S with the desire to only think of war in the past tense.
